Photo Spheres from Mars Curiosity Rover
I saw this photo sphere on Google+ yesterday and I had to share it!
NASA put cameras on the Mars Curiosity Rover with the capability to create ultra-HD 360° panoramas. Obviously if they give us 360° panoramas we are going to add the exif and turn them into awesome photo spheres.
Take a look and explore Mars! I’ve followed the Curiosity mission since the launch date, and watched real time as they landed the rover, and waited for signals back that the landing was successful. I love the images that NASA shares from the rover, and I especially love the 360° panorama. It blows my mind that they can land a rover on Mars, send pictures, and take scientific samples from the air and soil there. This is cool stuff.
